MDBC started on 18 August 1993 and is based in Croydon, an eastern suburb of Melbourne. We are not a touring or racing club but somewhere in between. Our rides are mostly on sealed roads, hilly and challenging. There are regular rides each week, including Saturday and Sunday mornings, occasional group trips and the opportunity to organise ad hoc rides. Rides are social for varying levels of ability, stopping after climbs to regroup. They range from 50km to 150km, with a stop for morning tea to let everyone catch up for a chat.
By joining these rides you agree to do so at your own risk, being responsible for your own level of fitness and health, the roadworthiness of your bike, your safe behaviour when riding in a group and awareness of weather and road conditions. Those members giving their time to organise rides or post on this site/app do so only under that understanding and you agree not to hold them liable for any injury or loss in so doing. We encourage you to seek cyclists insurance through a cycling association or insurance company. We also encourage you to be mindful of your privacy. Team App requires your email address but all other information is optional. You must also accept that other members will see whatever information you provide.
Download Team App smartphone app now and search for MDBC to enjoy our team app on the go.
